Strategic development of the engineering function and anchoring of technical excellence as a key success factor. Developing a uniform international engineering culture and strengthening cooperation between Ulm and Bucharest. Professional leadership of the engineering organization including prioritization and strategic development. Active contribution to the further development of the comprehensive technology and IT strategy.

Long-standing experience in leading engineering or architecture roles with strategic responsibility in complex, product-oriented organisations. Detectable successes in scaling engineering organizations as well as in implementing modern software and architecture approaches. Deep understanding of modern software development, distributed architectures and cloud-based system landscapes. Experience in controlling complex technical roadmaps and transformation initiatives. Knowledge of modern engineering practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automation) and their organizational anchoring. Ability to bring technical vision, architecture and delivery in line with business goals. Impressed strength in professional leadership, stakeholder management and cooperation in international, matrix-organized structures. Strategic thinking combined with high implementation strength and clear focus on Business Impact. Convincing communication and the ability to understand technical issues at all levels. Very good English skills and good German skills.
