Security Consultant – Telecom & KRITIS (m/f/d)

Integration of telecommunication and KRITIS-specific security requirements into the ISMS: You can understand that regulatory requirements from TKG, BSIG, KRITIS and NIS2 are translated and anchored in the company's security framework. Assessment of security measures in telecommunications networks and ICT platforms: From the perspective of the Second Line of Defense, you will check the effectiveness of existing controls in network, OSS/BSS and platform environments. Monitoring regulatory developments in telecommunications: With your look for new requirements, you identify action needs and introduce them in a structured manner. Support in evaluating information security risks in critical infrastructures: Through your analysis, you create transparency about risks in telecommunications networks and contribute to sound decisions in Information Risk Management. Participation in audits, KRITIS compliance assessments and regulatory audits: In close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, you support the preparation and successful implementation of audits. Advising network, engineering and operating teams on safety requirements: You translate regulatory and technical requirements into practical measures and strengthen the security of critical telecommunications infrastructure.

Complete studies in the field of information security, IT security, computer science, communications technology or telecommunications, or comparable qualifications First relevant professional experience in the area of information security, ICT security or telecommunications Knowledge of the assessment of security measures, information security risks or regulatory compliance Ideally first contact points with audits, compliance assessments or KRITIS checks Solid knowledge of information security standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 or BSI IT basic protection knowledge of regulatory requirements in the telecommunications and KRITIS environment, in particular TKG, BSIG, KRITIS or NIS2, Basic understanding of telecommunications networks, network architectures, ICT platforms and ideally OSS/BSS systems High readiness to learn to incorporate new technical and regulatory issues Analytical strength in evaluating regulatory and technical relationships Communication strength and structured working methods in cooperation with technical teams and departments Very good knowledge of German and English
