Project Engineer Environment and Areas

At the next time we are looking for you as a project engineer: in the environment and areas (w/m/d) for DB InfraGO AG at the Berlin site. As a project engineer:in the field of environmental and land management, you accompany infrastructure projects of the Deutsche Bahn over all phases of the HOAI (1–9). The projects are financed by the Coal Regions Investment Act and each project has individual financing. You are responsible for managing all environmental issues and ensuring the availability of space and as a central interface between planning, approval and construction in various projects. Your tasks: You are responsible for the coordination and control of the planning, construction and construction monitoring services in the field of the environment, as well as ensuring compliance with requirements from permits, contracts and regulatory requirements In addition, you will check and support professionally in the case of documents relating to pre-, design, approval and execution planning as well as performance directories, offers, contracts and expert opinions focusing on nature and species protection Controlling the creation of environmental technical contributions (scensorship and execution planning, FFH / SPA compatibility tests, environmental protection and water law documents) for approval procedures is one of your tasks You ensure compliance with all project-related permits and requirements, especially in nature, species and water protection during planning and construction, In addition, you will participate in tendering and awarding environmentally relevant planning and construction services and assist in handing over to the plant managers The coordination with competent authorities at national and local level with all environmental issues is your responsibility You advise the project team in all aspects of environmental and nature protection and in identifying and evaluating project risks You are also responsible for planning and controlling measures in area management (e.g. land security, coordination with owners and third parties)

Your profile: The basis of your career is successfully completed technical/university studies in the field of environmental engineering, landscape ecology, environmental planning or comparable with the focus on environmental and nature conservation Multiannual professional experience in planning and realization of construction or infrastructure projects You have profound knowledge of environmental, nature and species protection; knowledge of water law of advantage Experience in building project management as well as ideally in managing projects through several HOAI performance phases You are safe to use common software tools such as MS Office, SAP, iTWO, Doxis and FINK You are characterized by an independent, structured and result-oriented approach with a high self-initiative You have a strong communication capability, secure appearance and team skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders Analytical thinking and quality, cost and time-conscious action round off your profile
