Team Lead Excise & Customs (m/f/d)

Responsible for customs and excise governance: You define standards, guidelines and processes for all companies and ensure a uniform, regulatory implementation. Control complex topics: You evaluate challenging issues in customs, external economic and excise tax law, accompany licensing procedures and judge project and contract constellations. Examinations and authority communication: You are responsible for the preparation, monitoring and preparation of external audits and for communication with customs and tax authorities. Control reporting and regulatory reporting: You are able to obtain integrated mineral oil reports, Intrastat reports, quota reports and emission reports. Drive systems and digitization: You accompany ETRM changes and ensure the correct mapping of customs and excise requirements in IT systems. Take over knowledge transfer and professional leadership: You design training, empower employees and take over the technical leadership within the team.

Education: Completed degree in customs administration (Bachelor of Law), the BWL / Business Administration with a focus on customs / excise tax law or a comparable qualification (e.g. specialist consultant (m/w/d) customs and excise taxes). Professional experience: Multiannual professional practice in an internationally active company, ideally in the mineral oil industry with a focus on customs and excise tax law. Expertise: Very good know-how in energy tax law, customs law and external economic law, as well as good knowledge in the right of supply, BEHG and THG. Reporting expertise: Confidentiality with the creation of the integrated mineral oil report and the handling of Intrastat reports. System and Number Understanding: Embossed Number Affinity, Versiertheit in M365, in particular Excel, and safe handling of various IT systems, including Right Angle, TTA / MINOVA, ZODIAK, VTA-EMCS, IVVA. Languages: Excellent German and English, especially in legal and technical contexts.
