Emergency Management / Crisis Management Specialist – Energy Supply (m/f/d)

In your role, you will ensure the framework for the central technical, organizational and human capacity to act in emergencies and crises at TransnetBW and continuously develop the structures behind them as a central respondent. You develop threat scenarios and the associated action plans in cooperation with the departments and, where appropriate, external stakeholders. Reliablely ensure the ability of the people involved in emergency and crisis situations by developing, performing and preparing trainings, trainings and exercises in particular. You conduct and coordinate internal task forces for emergency and crisis management and are a member of the crisis team. You will be in close contact with the relevant internal departments and external partners from authorities, politics and business. In this context, you are also ready for occasional missions and are able to build internal and external networks up and out.

You have a university degree (Master) with a focus on disaster protection, crisis management, risk engineering or comparable. At best, you bring professional practice in one of these priorities and in a company of power supply. In addition, you have additional technical qualifications (e.g. Business Continuity Management, digital deployment management) as well as experience in crisis staff work, risk prevention or working methods of BOS. Personally, you are characterized by a structured way of working and communicate work results safely and effectively thanks to your precise expressiveness and display capability. You are versed in dealing with digital and analog ways of crisis management (e.g. satellite telephony, digital deployment, emergency equipment). Here you will show skill for new ways and pragmatic solutions.
