Head of Operational Processes (m/f/d)

For the holistic control and further development of the operating areas of the museums, we are looking for a management of operational processes that takes on the central responsibility for security & guest management, household technology and IT & digitization. In this role, you significantly shape the operational performance, resilience and service quality of the museums and ensure smooth and secure operation. You work closely with the management of the museums you report to, and work closely with the Hasso-Plattner Foundation (HPF), which supports the professional development and strategic orientation of the operational functions. This will give you a key role in the interface between operational operation, strategic development and governance. The position offers a high degree of design space and the possibility of actively shaping the further development of central operational functions in a dynamic and safety-critical environment. Your tasks: General responsibility for the operational areas of security & guest management, home technology and IT & digitization Leadership and further development of the respective team lines and areas Ensuring stable, secure and efficient operation across all locations Development of processes, concepts, standards and organisational structures in operational areas Planning of external audits and reviews in operational areas Control and prioritization of cross-departmental operational topics and projects Responsibility for service quality, visitor experience and operational safety Close coordination with the management of museums on operational issues, risks and priorities Implementation and integration of professional requirements and standards of HPF (in particular in IT & Security) Control and control of external service providers in the respective areas Ensuring compliance, security requirements and regulatory requirements Responsibility for Crisis Management and Escalation Processes in Operation Further development of capacities, structures and competencies in the teams

Complete studies in engineering, IT, security management or comparable training Multiannual experience in a leading operational role (e.g. operations, facility, security, IT or similar) Experience in the leadership of several teams or areas Strong understanding of complex operating structures and safety-critical environments Experience in handling external service providers and controlling services Ability to combine operational topics with strategic requirements High problem-solving competence as well as structured and pragmatic procedures Very good communication skills and safe occurrence Good knowledge of German and English (flowing in word and writing) Possibility and freedom to conceptualize and introduce new technologies High responsibility and strong ownership for operational topics Ability to decide quickly and clearly in complex situations Embossed service and solution orientation Strong team player with leadership and integration capability High level of integrity and sense of responsibility Interest in developing and improving organisations sustainably
