Head of Configuration Management (m/f/d)

As Head of Configuration Management (m/w/d) you take the following tasks: General responsibility for document management and configuration management in engineering – technical, disciplinary and strategic. Active design and implementation of change towards modern, efficient and digital working methods. Establishment, leadership and further development of a powerful team according to the principle “request and promote”. Definition, introduction and continuous improvement of standards, processes and methods in the product and project context. Close cooperation with engineering, project management and product managers as savings partners at eye level. Planning and control of resources, capacities and priorities in a complex multi-project and product environment. Ensure compliance with relevant standards, guidelines and regulatory requirements. Positioning the document and configuration management as a central, value-creating function in the company.

You have a successfully completed university degree in the natural sciences or engineering sciences or a successfully completed technical study in an STEM area. You can demonstrate many years of experience in the disciplinary leadership of teams or have the clear motivation to take over this responsibility. Multiannual experience in document management, configuration management in an engineering, development, or industrial environment is a key feature. You can demonstrate a CM2 certification or a comparable, well-founded qualification in configuration management. You have the pleasure of actively shaping changes and critically questioning existing structures. Embossed communication skills and the ability to take, convince and develop people is your strength. A structured, pragmatic way of working with a high level of quality and effectiveness is obvious to you. You convince by your good understanding of product development processes, project work and interfaces in the engineering environment. A safe occurrence against internal and external stakeholders as well as ophthalmic enforcing skills are yours. Hands-on mentality, sense of responsibility and real enthusiasm for building a team and a theme field in a sustainable manner complete your profile. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
