Senior System Administrator Kubernetes & Kafka / Cloud & Infrastructure (m/f/d)

Operation, development and protection of Kubernetes platforms in productive environments Responsibility for operation, scaling and performance of Kafka clusters Analysis and optimization of existing cloud and infrastructure architectures Technical advice from customers and internal teams on architectural, operational and scaling issues Design of sustainable, stable and scalable platform solutions Assessment of technical risks and derivation of appropriate measures Automation and standardization of operations and deployment processes Close cooperation with software development, data engineering and project management Participation in security, backup, recovery and monitoring concepts Technical support and savings partners for less experienced colleagues

Multi-year, well-founded professional experience in the operation of complex IT infrastructures Very good practical experience with Kubernetes in productive use Found experience in operation and optimization of Apache Kafka Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP) Very good knowledge of Linux systems, networks and distributed systems Experience in technical advice and in exchange with customers Understanding modern platform and microservice architectures Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
