The internal audit examines the financial and financial statements and the business processes of the German Pension Insurance Federation. It supports transparency, legality and efficiency and makes a significant contribution to the further development of the organisation. In addition to internal audits, the range of tasks also includes selected external or cross-organisational audit orders. The basis of the work is the standards of the German Institute for Internal Audit (DIIR). The quality of the audit work has been confirmed as part of a quality assessment.

As head of the internal audit, you take over the professional and organizational management of the audit and develop it strategically. You report directly to the Management Board or the Management Board. In this function, you are responsible for the planning, control and implementation of risk-oriented tests as well as the further development of test approaches and methods. In addition, you advise executives in revision-relevant questions and accompany change processes from an independent perspective. In detail, your tasks are: Leading the internal audit in professional and personal terms with around 60 employees Developing internal auditing, testing approaches and methods and their digital support Create risk-oriented annual and multi-annual audit planning Taxes and audits in all areas of the DRV Bund, auditing the annual accounts of another institution of the DRV, and in cross-organisational and external audit contexts Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control system (IKS) and further develop the governance, risk and control landscape Identify risks and optimization potentials and derive and follow appropriate measures Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and internal requirements

With pronounced analytical thinking, high integrity and a secure judgment, you take over the management of the internal audit. You act sovereignly in the field of stress of examination, advice and guidance and bring complex facts to the point in a proper address. Through your strategic understanding and its structured, solution-oriented way of working, you will provide impulses for the further development of the organization. In addition to a high level of responsibility, enforcement and communication strength, the following is expected: Completed academic studies of law (first and second state exams) Multiannual current professional and leadership experience in the field of revision, audit or compliance or comparable control and audit functions Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and audit standards Impressed analytical and conceptual skills and a secure judgment High integrity, sense of responsibility and enforcement Sovereign and safe occurrence towards executives, bodies and external bodies Embossed communication skills as well as experience in addressable preparation of complex facts
