After you have learnt all the basics in the Institute of Education and Training Mainz eG (ILW) and at the Vocational Education and Training School Mainz in the first year of your training, you can apply your knowledge directly to us from the second year of training – practical, varied and future-oriented. During your training as an industrial mechanic (m/w/d), you will get to know the entire range of tasks and develop step by step towards the specialist for our state-of-the-art production facilities. Your focus is on: the repair of complex machines and systems: You ensure that our specialty chemicals plants run reliably through repairs and technical improvements. monitoring and optimization of manufacturing processes: You analyze processes, identify potential for improvement and actively contribute. the installation and networking of new production facilities: You bring new machines to run and network them with existing systems. Maintenance, inspection and repair: Regular checks and precise procedures ensure smooth operation – with you are in the middle. parts (turning, milling, welding): You produce independent components and learn how to handle various processing methods.

You are passionate about technology and automated processes and want to actively participate in our maintenance team.
