The central medical laboratory of the Klinikum St. Georg in Leipzig is divided into the departments of Clinical Chemistry, Clinical Microbiology and Transfusion Medicine. In close association is the laboratory of the ImmunDefektCentrums Leipzig (IDCL).

The departments of Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Microbiology include disciplines such as Clinical Chemistry, Hemostaseology, Haematology, Clinical Immunology, Infectionerology, Molecular Biology and Microbiology, including Mycobacteriology, Parasitology and Hygiene. The transfusion medical field supplies the entire Klinikum St. Georg in Leipzig with blood components and plasma derivatives in support of the blood group serological laboratory. The range of services is supplemented by the immunological and transfusion medical medical consiliary service.

Your profile

• Successfully completed training as a medical technologist for laboratory analysis (m/w/d)
• Willingness to cooperate in an interdisciplinary team in the fields of Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Haematology, Transfusion Medicine, Hemostaseology or Microbiology
• Ability to cooperative, interprofessional cooperation
• Basic knowledge of laboratory-EDV systems as well as in common MS Office products
• An independent operation and a high degree of readiness to use complete their profile
