Activity

This strategically relevant position is to be occupied at the Berlin-Wilmersdorf location in our IT office. As a future-oriented agency, a powerful, scalable, sustainable and secure IT landscape is essential for ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and employees. The IT services are currently provided by four IT departments in the DRV Bund and are in continuous technological progress through modernization projects, legislative changes and progressive digitization. The IT office serves as a comprehensive strategic clamp on the four IT departments of the DRV Bund and is responsible for a holistic overview of the IT landscape and IT projects. Close cooperation with the areas of corporate security and the digitalization strategy takes place. In addition, the IT office acts as a central contact point for the Chief Information Officer (CIO) or the Executive Board and advises on the associated topics.

The coordinating cooperation with the IT departments of the DRV Bund and the direct proximity to the CIO and the Management Board, are subject to a high external impact and special trust. This key body includes, in particular, the following tasks: They are responsible for the alignment of the corporate architecture of the DRV Bund with the principles of economy and security as well as the strategic objectives of the DRV Bund. They are the central contact person for consulting on strategic issues in the corporate architecture of the DRV Bund. They define comprehensive standards, technologies and guidelines as well as concepts for corporate architecture. From an architectural perspective, they synchronize the tailor-made IT support of all the specialist domains and business skills of the DRV Bund in close cooperation with the company security, the digitization strategy and the four IT departments as well as the IT and digital portfolio management in the IT office. They are responsible for the overarching control and synchronization of the overall architecture – IT architecture plan, construction planning, reference and solution architectures – the four IT departments of the DRV Bund. They ensure that technical requirements (especially legislative changes and binding federal regulations) are implemented across the entire IT landscape. They independently identify technological developments and trends, analyze the usability for the DRV Bund and their compatibility with the existing IT systems and plan their possible implementation in the IT overall architecture. They represent the interests of the company architecture of the DRV Bund in the association of the IT service providers (VITD) of the Federal Government, maintain regular exchanges with external stakeholders (especially authorities, ministries and other social security institutions) and participate in exchange formats and meetings. They take responsibility and conduct regular professional and moderate working groups or other suitable exchange formats.

They have completed academic studies (master or equivalent degree) in the field of computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics or in a comparable field of expertise. You have several years of professional experience in corporate architecture (enterprise architectures, reference and solution architectures, software and system architectures or cloud architectures). They have a well-founded knowledge of corporate architecture management frameworks, such as TOGAF, in agile approach models such as SAFe, as well as in extensive development and operating processes, especially in DevOps / DevSecOps.
