Project Manager Climate Protection/Climate Adaptation for Municipalities with Focus: Digital Tools (m/f/d)

The Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB) is a contact person for investors, local companies and technology-oriented start-ups in the Land of Brandenburg. It supports the further development of the strong economic sectors of the state of Brandenburg and the German capital region. WFBB offers all services for economic and employment promotion from a single source – from support for the establishment and expansion of innovations, internationalisation and networking to the acquisition and qualification of skilled workers, as well as for energy and in future also on climate issues. As part of an order by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour, Energy and Climate Protection of the Land of Brandenburg, we are building and testing a consultancy offer for municipalities on climate protection and adaptation. This consulting offer is part of a new “Energy and Climate Agency Brandenburg” at WFBB. For this task, we are looking for a full-time one/n at our Potsdam site at the next possible time Projektmanager (m/w/d) with focus: Digital tools

Consultation of municipalities in the selection and use of digital tools in the context of municipal climate protection or local climate adaptation Support of municipalities to identify and integrate appropriate data sources Systematic search, evaluation and preparation of existing data sources or Data with relevance for climate protection/climate adaptation in Brandenburg municipalities Identification of needs and supply gaps (digital tools and data) and, where appropriate, deriving recommendations for complementary instruments Participation in information and networking events for municipal climate protection or municipal climate adaptation. Analysis, evaluation and processing of information on data sources and digital tools for climate protection/climate adaptation in municipalities for guides, checklists, newsletters, websites, social media and other information and communication channels.

You have a (scientific) university degree (Master, Diploma, relevant Bachelor) in climate/environment, preferably with reference to digitalization. You have good methodological and professional knowledge of digital tools and the use of data sources for climate protection or Climate adaptation. Experience in need-oriented consulting on digital instruments is advantageous. Ideally, you already have experience in cooperation with local actors. You are able to develop and communicate complex issues for different target groups. Team spirit, ability to integrate, willingness to use, flexibility and organisational skills are of course for you. You have very good knowledge of the German language (C 1-level). You have a class B licence. You are safe in handling Microsoft Office applications and digital communication media.
