As Team Lead Software Development | Fleet & Services (m/w/d), you are crucial:r Architect:in the interface between the PLC world and modern cloud infrastructure. You run a team that connects our systems, makes real-time data usable and actively drives digital solutions like our Remote Plant Operation Cockpit.

1. Fleet Management & Operations You are responsible for the strategy for connectivity and secure remote access of our facilities. You optimierst deployment processes (CI/CD) for over-the-air (OTA) updates in the field. You make sure that our systems can be monitored and controlled at any time. Two. Data infrastructure You guide the design and operation of a highly available data infrastructure. You enter modern time series databases (e.g. InfluxDB, Clickhouse) and convert scalable streaming solutions (MQTT, Kafka). You make sure that sensor data can be processed in real time and work in close coordination with our Data Analytics & Digital Solutions team.
2. Services & Services You control the development of central services and libraries (data logging, alarming systems). You are responsible for monitoring and linking the field level (e.g. via EtherCAT). You support our SPS developers as well as application and control engineers in software development and implement feature requests wherever necessary.
3. Leadership & Strategy You guide and coach a team of software developers and promote their professional and personal development. You shape the long-term vision for our software stack and translate business requirements into a concrete technical roadmap. As an interface between operations, engineering and data science, you prioritise requirements and transfer them to a structured product backlog.

You have a master's degree in computer science, engineering, physics or a comparable qualification. You bring multi-year experience in software development with hardware reference (ideally in the energy sector or in the industrial IoT environment). You have already managed development teams (at least professionally) and master agile project management (SCRUM) as well as precise requirements engineering. You work safely with Python, C# or Rust and have no fear of contact with the SPS world (e.g. Beckhoff TwinCAT). You understand yourself as a generalist:in and act as an interpreter:in between cloud architects, DevOps and PLC programmers. You speak fluent English and have good German skills (at least B1).
