Balancing Group Manager Gas/ Electricity (m/f/d)

As part of your activity as balance sheet management, you take responsibility for the operational processes in balance sheet management for the current and gas balance sheets as well as for operational tasks in energy data management and market data processing. You will accompany the concept development up to the implementation and mapping of customers into the balance sheet structure in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Furthermore, you maintain the data interfaces and business relationships with our market partners and are their contact persons:in relevant clearing matters. Your area of responsibility also includes compliance and implementation of the legal requirements of the market areas and control zones. In addition, check the daily import and shipping of the timetable data as well as the balance sheet status in the markets and ensure continuous coordination with the portfolio management and trading. The booking of capacities for the gas transmission system operators as well as the verification of the balance sheet circuit billing of electricity and gas are also part of your responsibility. Last but not least, you are responsible for the automation and further development of standard processes in the field of work and assist in the further development of the energy-economic processes and IT systems.

successfully completed studies in BWL, economic engineering, energy management or a comparable qualification at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in operational balance sheet and nomination management on electricity and gas markets familiar handling of EDIFACT market communication messages Experience in building, support and further development of EDM systems, ideally with Kisters Belvis+/3 excellent knowledge of electricity/gas markets and regulations in EU countries well-founded knowledge of compensation schemes KoV and MaBiS defined readiness Ability to translate complex technical information into non-technical languages effective communication skills in German and English, both oral and written
