You are responsible for the operation and further development of our data engineering and analytics platform based on Databricks Together with our data scientists, data architects and the departments, you develop data pipelines and curated data sets as the basis for data-driven decisions and AI applications You integrate and transform data from a wide range of source systems and make it usable for Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning and AI You ensure data quality through automated validations, structured monitoring, alerts and clear governance rules You operate analytics, ML and AI pipelines according to DevOps/MLOps principles with CI/CD, reproducible deployments and secure reliable operation You actively contribute to the further development of our data engineering principles and standards and promote new technologies and best practices

Multiannual experience as a data engineer in building and operating cloud-native ETL/ELT, batch and streaming pipelines Completed studies in natural sciences/engineering, mathematics, (economic) informatics or related disciplines with corresponding deepening Very good practice experience with Databricks. Cloud expertise (Microsoft Azure and/or AWS) is a prerequisite Knowledge in the SAP environment (e.g. SAP Datasphere) is desirable Very good knowledge of Python and SQL as well as a strong understanding of methodological software engineering Experience with orchestration, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (e.g. terraform) and containerization Solid understanding of data modelling, Lakehouse principles and governance as a basis for scalable data and AI infrastructures Ready to run projects Team orientation, communication strength, self-initiative, a high level of quality awareness and the motivation to work in business processes
