New semiconductor components are used in the power electronics for electrical drives, the development of which you drive forward. Are you ready to realize the next generation of energy-efficient systems with wide bandgap materials such as silicon carbide (SiC) and thus make a real difference? As part of our team, you develop and simulate precise wide bandgap performance components as well as test structures. With modern TCAD simulations, you will analyze the physical properties of the components to detail. You produce power components and test structures in the Bosch-based research environment. The components produced examine and characterize them comprehensively with regard to their electrical and physical properties. You will build a deep understanding of the interaction of electrical properties and TCAD simulations. Based on the characterization results, you can continuously optimize and calibrate the simulation models.

Education: completed studies (Master/Diplom) in the field of physics, electrical engineering or a comparable subject with excellent academic achievements experience and know-how: very good knowledge of solid-state and power semiconductor physics and technology; experience in semiconductor modeling; Expertise in the field of wide bandgap or III-V semiconductors is desirable Personality and working methods: You analyse complex relationships structured and with a wide view to develop sound and targeted solutions; introduce your own ideas, represent them convincingly and keep an overview even in challenging situations; a trusted collaboration in the team is self-evident and an important success factor Languages: English in word and writing; German knowledge is desirable
