Business Lawyer (m/w/d) in the Banking & Finance department in the Smart Operations team

We are now looking for business lawyers (m/w/d) in the field of transactions and projects focusing on banking & finance for our Team Smart Operations in Berlin. In our Smart Operations team, your future tasks consist of transaction-related activities in projects from all over the banking & finance sector, in particular the analysis of credit financing with banks, shareholders or other third parties, credit security, lease, lease purchase, factoring and cash pool agreements, as well as the legal assessment in the context of national and international corporate transactions. Your tasks include, in particular, the coordination of corresponding (partial) projects - you are closely involved in the mostly international mandate work and in ongoing exchange with the lawyers who support you in your further development performing due diligence audits including the preparation of relevant audit reports (DD reports) in the area of banking & finance for both buyers and sellers of companies Transaction-related tasks (structuring and administration of the data space, coordination of the Q&A process, support in the design of transaction documents, etc.) Support in the creation of financing documents

Other areas of activity of the Smart Operations Team are: contract management and (risk) analysis of large contract portfolios and support in the management and design of contracts, and support for internal investigation projects, the detection of compliance violations or the processing of facts in complex judicial processes or international arbitration

Master's degree in German Economic Law (LLL.M.) with above-average success flowing German and English skills (in word and writing) and ideally further language skills Curiosity on legal problems, economic interest and interest in corporate transactions, financing and credit security (debt and property law) Quick conception and communicative and co-ordinative skills No bareness to question existing and to formulate adequate suggestions for improvement Interest in digital work solutions and opportunities to increase the efficiency of existing work processes
