RESEARCH ASSISTANT (90%) (m/f/d)

At the Fulda University of Applied Informatics, the position is as follows:

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

to the extent of a 90%-position fixed for the duration of 3 years according to §2 para. 1 WissZeitVG. (Identification number AI-2026-I)

Your main tasks:

› Implementation of scientific work and publication in journals or relevant conferences

› Conducting a PhD in Machine Learning

› Teaching in the scope of 4 SWS, preferably on master level and in English

› Implementation work in the areas of simulations and Reinforcement Learning in Python

Your profile:

› Excellent degree in computer science (master degree or equivalent university degree) with high proportions of machine learning and data analysis

› Very good python skills and deeper experience with machine learning libraries (numpy/scipy, tensorflow), as well as extensive experience in the areas of Reinforcement Learning and Simulation Tools for Robotics

› Extensive experience in academic teaching
