Nautical Watch Officer (m/f/d)

During sea trials of submarines as well as sea training, your use is done on board the submarine. In your role you drive the submarine after the command of the captain and lead the sea guard. Operation, monitoring and maintenance of the systems/systems in the field of weapon and guidance with a focus on navigation is one of your tasks. You are responsible for general administrative tasks and the equipment of the navigation section with tools, spare parts and consumables. You take over the planning and coordination of system training incl. Creation of training documentation and presentations as well as customer training in English. You create complex technical manuals and maintenance documents and work in the maintenance of safety ships. If necessary, you will be deployed on board the safety ships and participate in shipyard test drives.

You have a current employment certificate as Nautischer Wachoffizier (m/w/d) or higher to STCW95. You could already earn at least four years of experience as a Nautian guard officer, optionally also more than two years on board submarines. Ideally, you also have the basic qualification of submarine drivers and further trainings according to STCW95 (such as Fast Rescue Craft Course or the like). You have the ability to acquire medical submarine suitability. Your personality is characterized by team skills, self-initiative and independent and predictive working methods. Management experience, communication skills and interface competence complete your profile. You bring willingness to regular, even several months, international missions on board.
