The Data & Analytics Engineer (m/w/d) bridges the gap between raw data sources and business-relevant insights. In this role, data pipelines, data models and semantic layers are developed to provide a reliable basis for business intelligence, advanced analytics and AI applications.

Development of data pipelines Building, maintenance and optimization of scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for integration, transformation and provision of quality-secured data from different source systems. Semantic Layer & Data Modelling Conception and management of semantic layers and development of technically consistent data models and key figures in data warehouse and BI solutions. Data Quality & Governance Implementation of standards for automated data testing, monitoring and documentation and traceability of data flows to ensure data quality, consistency, data protection and compliance. Cooperation & Enablement Partnership with analysts and disciplines for the design of self-service records, semantic models, dashboards and reporting solutions as well as for the definition of uniform technical characteristics. Contribution to the BI roadmap Assessment of technologies, optimization of performance and resource use as well as standardization of development, version control and deployment practices to further develop the BI and Analytics strategy. What you should bring:

Complete university studies in business informatics, industrial engineering, computer science or comparable qualifications More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in comparable roles Knowledge of data warehousing, data modeling and the development of scalable ETL/ELT processes, experience with incremental charging or change data capture is advantageous Very good SQL knowledge as well as practical experience with Python and cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake Experience in the development of semantic models, key figures and reporting solutions, especially with Power-BI confidentiality with data and analytics platforms and dataiku; Knowledge of Skywise, Spark or PySpark are advantageous Experience with data quality, monitoring, documentation and data governance Experience with Git, code reviews and CI/CD practices for data models and BI solutions understanding of data requirements of Advanced Analytics and AI; Knowledge of machine learning, optimization or process mining is advantageous Knowledge of the aviation industry and its operational processes, for example in the areas of flight operations, maintenance or logistics, are advantageous Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing High level of professionalism and integrity What we offer:
