Security Analyst (m/f/d)

Responsibility & Ownership: You take confirmed Security Incidents end-to-end, perform the complete threat analysis to the end and are primary contact for the customer, including independent coordination of all measures in the incident lifecycle Analysis & Visibility: You determine the entire attack dimension (affected systems, attack paths, activity status) and reconstruct timelines including Lateral Movement and IOC analysis based on EDR, SIEM, firewall logs and other data sources. Response & Forensics: You introduce containment measures in the context of contractual powers or after customer release, accompany cleaning and recovery and perform deep forensic analyses in complex incidents (APT, ransomware, zero-day) (malware, memory, persistence, attack path) Documentation & Detection: You document Incidents structured (final reports, forensic reports), run proactive Threat Hunting on the basis of current Threat Intelligence independently of incoming alerts and launch new detection requirements including specific rules Enablement & Reporting: You strengthen the quality of the L1 team by runningbooks, shadowing and training, and support regular customer reports with sound position assessment and concrete action recommendations

Experience & Expertise: Multiannual experience in operational security analysis, ideally in the SOC or MSSP environment, combined with sound knowledge in SIEM platforms and EDR solutions Attack Understanding & Frameworks: Secure understanding of modern attack techniques, Lateral Movement and complex attack chains based on MITRE ATT&CK Forensik & Threat Hunting: Experience in digital forensics (memory, malware analysis, artifact evaluation) as well as Threat Hunting and dealing with Threat intelligence platforms and feeds Detection & Engineering: Practice in the development, optimization and continuous improvement of Detection Rules Communication & mode of operation: Imprinted communication strength in customer contact, structured and document-driven mode of operation as well as German reliable and English fluent in word and writing
