R&D Manager (m/f/d) - Flow Measurement

Our client is a leading manufacturer of flow meters and technological pioneer in the development of high-precision measuring systems for demanding industries. We are looking for an experienced and practice-oriented leader to lead the team's basic development.

In this role, you take responsibility for a team of around five specialists: inside and make sure that new developments are designed to meet the market and that existing product platforms are consistently developed. You will meet the highest precision, efficiency and standard compliance requirements. Basic development of new and further development of existing flow meters Further development of simulation techniques for new products and specifications Conception, implementation and evaluation of tests for device development New and further development of internal and external test methods Cross-departmental cooperation with calibration and production Representation of the company in relevant bodies and committees

Studies (Dipl.-Ingenieur, Master) of the Department of Physics, Messtechnik or Engineering Multiannual experience in structural mechanical, thermal and electrodynamic simulation Very good knowledge of physical measurement technology, thermodynamics and metrology Ideally knowledge of flow measurement principles and devices as well as related applications Knowledge of the automation of measurement sequences e.g. with Python, LabView, Matlab are desirable Experience in project management Self-employed, methodological and structured working methods Very good German and English skills in word and writing
