Institute of Transfusion Medicine (Director: Prof. Dr. med. S. Görg) - Campus Lübeck At the Lübeck site, the institute offers a wide range of diagnostics with the fields of immunohaematology, infection testing and transplant immunology including DSO regional laboratory. Centralized further processing and testing of all full blood donations of the UKSH takes place at Campus Lübeck. In addition, the institute operates two blood donation centres and a travel medical ambulance. The Campus Kiel also includes the areas of stem cell production, further processing and quality control of stem cell products and the thrombocyte laboratory as part of the Institute for Transfusion Medicine. In addition, there is the possibility of participation in the UKSH coagulation collectives at both locations.

We offer you:

• Continuing training for the specialist in transfusion medicine on the full training period
• Possibility of doctoral studies and habilitation as well as the acquisition of the additional name of hemostaseology
• Grouping into the remuneration group A1 TV doctors (assistant physician/assistant physician) or A.2 TV doctors (specialist / doctor), in the event of compliance with the tariff conditions
• Full-time employment, plus 40 hours/week; parttime work is compatible with certain working time models
