Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

SSP Trade & Consult GmbH is a Japanese wholesaler for Japanese and Asian foods with locations in Dietzenbach (Raum Frankfurt) and Berlin. With the aim of further expanding the Japanese food market in Europe and promoting Japanese dining culture, we offer a wide range of products – from traditional to modern products – in line with market requirements and global trends. In the course of our continuous growth and the increasing number of employees, we are looking for an experienced person as Accounting Manager (m/w/d), who takes responsibility for daily accounting and proactively supports management through sound analyses of GuV, balance sheet and cash flow. Place of work: Dietzenbach, Hessen (regular presence on site required)

Accounting Responsibility for ongoing accounting and monthly accounts Analysis and monitoring of GuV, balance sheet and cash flow Ensuring compliance with HGB (local) and IFRS (reporting to the headquarters) Creation of reports for local management and the EU and Japan headquarters Close cooperation with specialist departments for the analysis and optimization of existing processes (SOP) Audit & Compliance Coordination of internal audits and cooperation with auditors Construction, development and monitoring of internal control systems Ensuring compliance with legal, tax and internal requirements Taxes Monthly sales tax forecasts (electronics) Preparation of documents for annual tax returns in cooperation with tax advisors Monitoring of tax audits (USt, KSt, Zoll, Lohnsteuer) Budget & Forecast Creation and management of the annual budget Implementation of forecasts and budget actual deviation analyses Close coordination with management and specialist departments Cash flow & financing Monitoring and control of liquidity Cash flow planning Contact for banks and financial institutions ERP & Processes Support and further development of the ERP system Optimization of workflows and internal processes Risk management Identification and management of financial, credit-related and liquidity-related risks Use of appropriate security instruments (e.g. insurance) Guide Professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team Promotion and further development of employees Target definition and performance monitoring

Multiannual professional experience in accounting, ideally in executive function Very good knowledge of HGB, IFRS knowledge of advantage Experience in the tax and audit environment Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation Representative communication and leadership skills Interest in working in an international business environment Language skills German: Mother tongue English: Business Level
