In addition, the BBSR implements a variety of support and investment programs in the field of climate protection and urban development. The RS 6 unit observes, analyzes and visualizes spatial disparities of urban and spatial development in Germany. It provides the data base (in particular IRIS), indicators (in particular INKAR) and geodata infrastructure for spatial analysis.
