Senior Development Engineer (m/w/d)

Your tasks:

Your responsibilities

• Development of complex and innovative image processing algorithms for weapon systems and missiles including innovative technologies (e.g. artificial intelligence)
• Design of image processing systems taking into account the characteristics of the sensors and the possible realisation in real time on state-of-the-art high performance hardware
• Detection of developed solutions by simulation, analysis and test
• Creation of studies taking into account new technologies and standards
• Creation of complex real-time embedded software, as well as its maintenance and modification
• Creation of the necessary development documentation according to the business system and presentation of development results

Your qualifications:

That's what you bring

• Complete studies in mathematics, computer science, electrical engineering or comparable qualification
• Advanced knowledge and experience in computer vision and image processing
• Very good knowledge and experience in the programming language C/C++
• Knowledge and experience with the design and programming of real-time systems (e.g. GPU, FPGA, etc.)
• Knowledge and professional experience in the field of artificial intelligence and the associated tool landscape are desirable.
• Ability to analyse problems taking into account the HW, SW and real-time aspects and to work out solutions
• Team-oriented thinking and working methods and communication strength
