Operations Manager Contract Logistics (m/f/d)

Take responsibility: You control and optimize all operational processes with the aim of 100% customer satisfaction.

Team leadership with a wide view: you run and develop your warehouse team both professionally and disciplinely, coordinate the personnel deployment and take care of personnel requirements messages as well as orders from service providers.

Customer contact at eye level: As a central contact (POC) for the customer, you ensure compliance and continuous improvement of quality and performance indicators.

Ensure efficiency: you control, monitor and optimize operational processes and ensure compliance with all statutory and internal occupational health policies.

Staff meetings & coaching: You accompany your team through regular feedback talks and promote individual development.

Responsibility: You represent the location manager and take over the planning and approval of holidays for your team.

Qualification: Completed studies, ideally in logistics, business management (BWL), economy (VWL) or a comparable discipline – alternatively a corresponding further development in the logistical field.

Professional Experience & Leadership: Multiannual experience in logistics as well as in the leadership of larger teams (approximately 200 employees) in a comparable position.

Operational expertise: Funded knowledge in the operational logistics sector as well as experience with QSHE methods such as lean management, Kaizen and Six Sigma.

Language competence: German and English language skills.

Soft Skills: You convince with pronounced communication strength, social competence and leadership qualities.

Personal strengths: Enforcement, analytical and problem-solving thinking, innovative power and affinity for numbers.
