We, the Tauber-Solar group, plan, build and operate, since approx. 25 years, photovoltaic systems, both for customers and for our own portfolio. Since 2022, we have also worked in the field of project development and implementation of large-scale storage projects from 10MW. Under the Tauber-Solar brand, we have both our service and asset management teams for the technical and commercial management of currently more than 350 PV and storage facilities from C&I to ''Utility Scale', as well as our EPC business with commercial and industrial customers (C&I) for roof and small open-air installations, as well as customer solutions in connection with PV such as storage bundles, charging or charging management.

With Tauber Energy, we are in the field of large open-air systems and large-scale storage from approx. 10MW active along the entire value chain, have already successfully implemented BESS projects and are currently working on the implementation of project portfolios in the three-digit MW range. Geographically, we are active in Germany, Spain and selected African countries and regularly examine engagements in other markets. Always looking for the next project and the next customer solution, we do not impose any technical or geographic restrictions.

As a Procurement Manager (m/w/d), you take over the overall responsibility for the strategic and operational purchasing of our demanding large battery storage projects. In close cooperation with technology, project management and external partners, you will ensure efficient, timely and economic procurement – from market research to tendering and contract creation:

Shopping strategy & market analysis Development and implementation of a cross-project procurement strategy for all relevant product groups and services Continuous monitoring and analysis of relevant markets Supplier Management & Relationship Management Building and maintenance of strategic partnerships with suppliers, general contractors and subcontractors Conducting regular performance and quality assessments Tendering & tender phaseDeveloping complete tender documents based on technical specifications and project-specific requirements Control of the entire tender process including Offer management, tender communication and support in contract negotiations Implementation of commercial and technical offer analyses (in cooperation with the engineering) as well as preparation of sound award recommendations Order ManagementResponsibility for the entire order system incl. Documentation, releases and handover to project management and accounting

Successfully completed studies in engineering (e.g. civil engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification) 3–5 years of professional experience in strategic or technical purchasing, ideally in the field of energy infrastructure, photovoltaics, battery storage (BESS), EPC or plant engineering Experience gained in supporting complex procurement and procurement processes and good market knowledge of relevant suppliers and components desirable Very good communication skills and negotiation security in German and English Structured, independent operation and high process reliability in contract and supplier management Safe handling of MS Office; Experience with ERP or AVA systems of advantage readiness to travel within Germany (approximately 5–10 %)
