This makes this job interesting for me: 50Hertz has been committed for a long time for the energy transition. In the Team Großprojekte / Netzintegration Power electronics, I can work directly to implement innovative technical solutions for the voltage maintenance in the high-voltage network. Together with my team colleagues, I analyze the growing demand for direct network connections to the transmission network, evaluate the impact of the customer systems on the power system and ensure their network integration to ensure stable system operation and minimize additional investments in assets. My tasks: Network-planner support of customer connections of power electronic systems over the entire project life cycle – from electrical design and technical specifications to commissioning, independent implementation of network integration studies in the frequency range and EMT simulations; identifying future plant requirements and developing technological plant concepts with a focus on networking behaviour (e.g. network-forming regulations), representing 50Hertz in national and international bodies and research projects (e.g. VDE FNN, ENTSO‐E), initiation, design and coordination of studies and special projects with national and international partners, including focusing on interaction studies and power quality, Maintenance, development and validation of the model and tool landscape (e.g. PowerFactory, PSCAD) as part of internal, national and international processes, including manufacturer model tests and EMT system analyses.
