Number: MER00042QN Business informatics combine IT and economic aspects, develop and explain new systems, make these different internal customers accessible and actively and agile in developing new information technologies. In theory, basics of information technology, current methods of computer science and modern IT technologies are taught for the development of software systems. You get a broad knowledge in the fields of programming, system development and project management. In addition, the subjects BWL, VWL as well as law and foreign languages are included. International Management for Business and IT (IMBIT) focuses on topics of business information technology in an international context. The lectures take place in English and German. In the course of the study, both a practical application and a semester abroad are completed. In the practical phases, you will learn both information technology and operational functional areas by working actively on the daily business and in project tasks. You will learn the competent handling of application programs and various developer tools. In addition, the study is complemented by professional and personalized seminars in the company.
