Your role: Process Engineer (m/w/d) As a process engineer (m/w/d), you are part of the production team and provide technical know-how for all vaccine production plants. In this role you are responsible for optimizing performance in key areas such as utilities, fermentation, freeze drying (lyophilization), aseptic filling and packaging to ensure operational excellence.

Your tasks: Technical support and act as expert (Subject Matter Expert, SME) for fermentation, lyophilization, aseptic filling, utilities and packaging.

Management of process improvement initiatives, technology transfers and scale-up projects to increase reliability, efficiency and product quality.

Management of deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls and Equipment Qualification Activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) within a GMP environment.

Solution of complex process or device problems by conducting root research and cross-functional task forces.

Promoting operational excellence through technical leadership and mentoring for operational teams.

What you should bring with you (minimum requirements): Bachelor's or Master's degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical production in a GMP-regulated environment.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to cross-functional cooperation and across different levels of leadership.

What gives you a competitive advantage (special qualifications): Current knowledge of German and English.

Experience with GMP production units.

Detectional experience with device qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process validation.

Experience in managing engineering projects or continuous improvement initiatives.
