The 4th Medical Clinic of the Municipal Hospital Kiel is a clinic for pneumology and infectiology. Here we offer the further spectrum of pneumological diagnostics and therapy. We provide patients with empathy and personal attention at a high level according to current scientific knowledge. An esteeming, collegial handling of all professional groups within the house and with the established colleagues is important to us.

Varied and challenging – your area of responsibility is diverse.

• Upper medical care/supervision of stationary patient care
• Upper medical care/supervision of outpatient care (ASV ambulances for sucoidosis, tuberculosis, lung carcinoma, CF, pre-stationary ambulance, authorization ambulance, round heart spokesperson)
• Indication setting and monitoring of pneumological function diagnostics (spirometry, bodyplethysmography, DLCO, BGA, polygraphy, spiroergometry)
• Bronchoscopic diagnostics/therapy (including rigid bronchoscopy, EBUS/Ultrasonic meniscus/interventions with APC, cryo, stent)
• Thoraxsonography
• Care of intensive patients/furaning
• Interdisciplinary cooperation and participation in conferences/boards (e.g. tumor, ILD board)
• Supervision and training of assistant physicians, guidance of interprofessional teams
• ensuring guidance, documentation and quality standards; Participation in SOPs/risk management
• Participation in the call/professional service according to service model
• Designing the further development of pneumological services
• Participation in bronchoscopic studies incl. Navigational bronchoscopy

• Long-term activity as a specialist in pneumology and experience in the written position
• Expertise in respiratory medicine and pampering
• Good endoscopic portfolio (transbronchial cryobiopsies, EBUS-supported cryobiopsies mediastinal, interventional bronchoscopy, possibly. Dyna-based bronchoscopy)
• German knowledge of C1 level
• Responsible, team-oriented working style
• Impressed communication skills and readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation
