In our inclusive inobservatory group WG Blickwinkel we offer six young people a safe, protected place of life in crisis and danger situations. We support children and young people with and without disabilities individually and resource-oriented. Our aim is to ensure protection, to stabilise the situation and to contribute to the development of a sustainable perspective. We work closely with the youth office, families, specialist clinics, schools and other network partners. Our pedagogical work includes everyday support, crisis intervention, relationship work and the promotion of self-reality and social participation. An understanding and appreciation of diversity and inclusion is the basis of our daily work.

♪ These are your tasks as a social pedagogical specialist:

• You offer a safe habitat for children and young people in crisis situations.
• You accompany the young people in the coming, everyday life and farewell process and create a reliable, durable and strengthening framework with them.
• You see every young person with his needs, interests and potentials and promote individual development steps
• You can help young people with heart, creativity and an open view: whether in the design of everyday life, care, leisure activities or in the support of their further perspective
• You are a reliable contact for children and young people and for the people, institutions and authorities involved
• You work in the team, reflect your actions and document educational processes

♪ We offer you in Marburg:

• An attractive remuneration according to pay group 8 of the employment contract guidelines AVR.KW of the Diakonischer Werk, which in full time (39 hours) corresponds to a remuneration according to the classification between 4.064.62 Euro and 4.693,67 Euro gross per month

♪ You bring this as a social pedagogical specialist:

• You are an educator, social education, medical education, or have completed another relevant training or study
• You have a high degree of empathy, patience and humour and the ability to stop even in challenging situations
• You understand the behaviour of children and adolescents as a biographical and sensual behaviour and look for the following needs
• For you, the critical self-reflection as well as the questioning of pedagogical action belongs to professional everyday life
• You like to work in the team, place value on an open exchange and like to take responsibility
• You are flexible in a dynamic working environment and see the benefits in shiftwork
• You have a class B licence
