dbt Architect (m/f/d)

Customers advise: You work in exciting transformation projects, develop reusable data products with dbt, and you are a contact person for customers, partners and internal management. Strategic architecture and design: You design data architectures for enterprise customers and take responsibility - from the first idea to ongoing production. Responsibility for data platforms: You ensure that CI/CD, test concepts and infrastructure as code are consistently taken into account. Including the integration of Agentic AI as a strategic component in all process steps. Select and integrate technologies: You advise on the technological roadmap and strategy and support the selection of the right tools (dbt Core, dbt Fusion, dbt Cloud/dbt Platform). Data Management: You help our customers build structured and reliable data processes, such as compliance with privacy policies, definition of data governance guidelines and implementation of data access and security concepts. Data Engineering & Presales: You shape the technical orientation in data engineering for both customers and internally, are responsible for technical solution concepts, accompany offer presentations and carry out workshops.

Data Engineering: You have at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering, as well as very good dbt knowledge (Core + Cloud), ideally proven by a dbt Architect certification. Data Platform Architecture: You have extensive practical knowledge of Data Platform projects, ideally with Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or BigQuery, and master Data Platform concepts (DWH/Data Lake/Datalakehouse and Data Mesh) and modelling with Data Vault 2.0 or classic modeling patents such as Snowflake and Star. Cloud expertise: You bring experience in cloud data platforms and a cloud hyperscaler such as AWS, GCP or Azure, and you know cloud infrastructure. Communication strength: You can pitch solutions and inspire customers. Project and consulting experience: You have proven experience in project management as well as product owner, architect or in a comparable function. You made architectural decisions independent. KI competence: You have in-depth AI expertise, actively shape their responsible commitment in your area of responsibility and act as an enabler for customers and internally at adesso. Language skills: You have very good German and good English skills in word and writing.
