Senior Project Manager Railway (m/f/d)

The position is located in our Transport & Urban Spaces department, which currently includes around 36 employees. Senior You are complex customer projects, especially for Deutsche Bahn and other railway companies from planning to successful commissioning.

Stv. Head of Department: Discipline and professional leadership of the team, resource planning and personnel development (e.g. training on BIM methodology) Project management: Total responsibility for large-scale projects as the overall plan of transport systems OLA and LST with regard to costs, dates and quality Stakeholder Management: Primary contact for customers, authorities (e.g. EBA) and partner organisations; Implementation of negotiations and committee work Technical Controlling: Monitoring the planning phases according to HOAI(performance phases 1–7) and compliance with web-specific standards such as VOB,EBO or BOStrab Risk management: identification and minimisation of project risks and development of countermeasures in the event of deviations

Successfully completed studies in civil engineering, transport, electrical engineering or industrial engineering, (technical) BWL, electrical engineering or comparable, ideally with focus on project management At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in rail infrastructure or rail operations In-depth knowledge in areas such as track construction, tensile signal technology (including ETCS), safety technology, overhead lines or structural engineering Found experience in the project management of customer-related, complex projects (project experience at best detectable by a project certificate, for example IPMA Level B) High enforcement strength, leadership skills, resilience and strong communication skills in a complex environment Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing readiness to travel for national missions (customer visits and site visits) What we are looking forward to: If you burn for your job, no matter what ethnic origin, religion or worldview you belong to.
