You shall examine and take over the acceptance of guarantees and shall ensure their proper processing You shall carry out the formal and substantive examination of guarantee instruments, in particular contract performance, defect claims and advance payment guarantees You ensure compliance of the guarantees with contractual agreements and legal requirements You are responsible for the complete documentation and ensure a revision-proof deposit and archiving of the guarantee documents You control the time-limit management, initiate the return processes in the event of a proper performance of the contract and prepare the mobilisation of guarantees in the event of failure to provide services You take over communication and coordination with internal departments and external contact persons You maintain reporting, support the internal control system and actively participate in audits You prepare documents for internal and external audits, including for auditors, the National Audit Office and the internal audit

You have a successfully completed university degree (Diplom/Bachelor/Master) of the Department of Economics, Law, Public Management, Finance and a comparable discipline. Further requirements: You will then bring at least two years of professional experience in a comparable position to your studies and have a sound knowledge of contract and guarantee law (BGB, VOB/B, VOL, UVgO) Ideally, you already have experience in handling ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and document management systems (ECM, SAP DM) You are characterized by a high degree of care and accuracy in the examination of documents and act responsibly at any time in dealing with safety-relevant documents In addition, you have a pronounced communication strength, diplomatic skills in exchange with external partners and remain professional at any time even in the event of a large volume of documents and cannot be rested You have certain knowledge of German that corresponds at least to the language level C1 (flowing in word and writing). Safe handling of the common Microsoft Office products completes your profile

Depending on the personal and operational requirements, a fee for employees is from the E10 Group to the E12 TV‐L (approximately 50,000,00 € – approx. 80.300,00 € per year) with all agreed social services (e.g. occupational pensions). A status-like takeover of beamed applicants is possible up to an office of grade A 12 LBesO A.
