Software Architect Flight Simulation (m/f/d)

As a software architect (m/w/d), we are looking for the field of flight simulation. Together with your colleagues from the various specialist teams, you work on the creation, maintenance and documentation of software system architectures for flight simulators, e.g. for aircraft types KC-390 or A400M, in national and international projects. In your position, you assume the technical responsibility for the creation and compliance of the software system architectures and accompany the implementation process from the generation phase to the finished flight simulator in intensive exchange with your colleagues from the specialist departments. Other tasks are: Assessment, refinement of functional and non-functional requirements based on the proportion to be responsible Contact person (m/w/d) and interface to project and product management Analysis of customer requirements and interfaces for the segment Connection of external systems and realization of software components Creation of process documentation (e.g. software architecture design) Embedding of software components available in the market Implementation of thematic analyses (e.g. vulnerability and performance analyses) Initiation and technical evaluation of Make or Buy decisions related to Software components

Completed studies in computer science or comparable; alternatively completed training as a specialist (m/w/d) or comparable Multiannual professional experience in creating software architectures Ideally multi-year experience in collaboration with large software projects Experience in the field of flight simulation or aviation is desirable Very good programming knowledge in an object-oriented programming language Very good English skills in word and writing Global readiness
