At 01.06.2026 we are looking for a dedicatedn pedagogical staffin (m, w, d) for the implementation of the Voluntary Ecological Year at the Jena site. They accompany the volunteers during the period of your FÖJ mission in missions (environment, nutrition, health, ecology, nature), organize educational seminars and work in project management.

Your tasks:

• Planning and implementation of educational days/seminars (25 days/year)
• Educational support of volunteers: Recruiting, application process, support, advice
• Acquisition, advice, support, evaluation
• Implementation of pedagogical concept, further development, adapting to current conditions
• Project management: Implementation of the funding programme, including administrative tasks
• Documentation and evaluation of the measure

Your profile:

• completed university or technical college degree of social education or social sciences and comparable qualifications
• pedagogical and methodological-didactic knowledge and skills as well as experience in extracurricular youth education
• Experience in group work and/or experience education
• Joy in working with young people
• interest and knowledge in issues of sustainability and environmental education as well as an ecological basic understanding and knowledge in the education of sustainable development
• Organizational talent, team skills, initiative
• Communication skills for working with volunteers, jobs, network partners
• Competence in dealing with conflicts, crises and sensitive issues
• readiness to travel within Thuringia (for the implementation of educational seminars and mission visits)
• Car driver's license, guidance certificate
