For our IP team at the location ams OSRAM International GmbH, Regensburg, we are looking for a dedicated patent attorney/patent attorney who understands technological developments whose economic importance recognizes and uses an industry-leading patent portfolio. Supporting inventions and patent families over the entire life cycle, from the application and examination procedures to strategic portfolio decision Assessment of invention messages together with technical experts from the field of patentability and strategic relevance Competent elaboration of patent applications and the management of examination procedures, as well as, where appropriate, the control of corresponding cases of full representation in cooperation with external patent attorneys Close cooperation with the R&D and implementation of IP workshops to identify protective developments (invention harvesting) Patent Attorney's advice on the validity, relevance and scope of proprietary and foreign intellectual property rights Implementation of IP Risk Assessments in the Development of New Products and Technologies of the Company If necessary, support in patent complaints, patent-related litigation, licensing projects, and other IP-related transactions

Successfully completed study of physics or electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on semiconductors, preferably with master degree or doctorate. A good understanding of optoelectronics and related areas is advantageous Qualification as a patent attorney (e.g. European, German and/or American patent attorney), Multiannual relevant professional experience following the conclusion of patent law qualification, ideally in an industrial patent department expressed experience in the preparation of patent applications and the management or control of examination procedures; Passion of passion A value-oriented way of thinking and the ability to combine protection decisions with technological and economic corporate objectives.
