Our IT specialist supervises the software for managing the insured accounts, establishing pensions & providing services related to rehabilitation in the DRV Bund. The team supports the technical platform of our software based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux and the specific development tools used. It takes care of the further development of the platform and the tools used and ensures a general increase in the degree of automation. In addition, the team coordinates operating system and software updates and is contact for the development and operating teams.

Coordinate and collaborate in the creation of new servers and software updates for tools and development tools Designing and implementing capacity management measures as well as backup, monitoring and archiving Create, wait and maintain automation scripts Contact personin/adviserin for the development process incl. conceptual requirements for code standards etc. Working in the 3rd level Support of the Platform Working in committees and Working groups of DRV IT and in-house projects of the DRV Bund

Successfully completed university education (Bachelor, Diplom FH) in the IT sector or equivalent qualification (for example IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in the IT sector or comparable multiannual practical experience in the IT sector Long-term job-relevant professional experience in IT Knowledge and practical experience with the administration of the Linux operating system Practical experience with complex development, release and operating environments Knowledge and current experiences with the programming language Python and the Linux Shell programming Knowledge of products Fujitsu Siemens open UTM and/or Visual Cobol are desirable Experience in dealing with agile methods (Kanban, Scrum) and tools (Jira, Confluence) are desirable German language skills A strong customer orientation as well as high communication and team skills complete your profile
