About us Design the future of ultra-thin glass production with us! In our Green Plan plant, you will find an exciting, new field of work in which you will develop and implement innovative packaging solutions - for high-tech products with the highest quality standards. Your duties Development, adaptation and optimization of innovative packaging solutions for our products with a focus on cost efficiency, sustainability and product protection Creation and implementation of packaging policies, work instructions and schedules Introduction of new materials and solutions taking into account legal requirements (e.g. recyclability according to Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation) Conducting tests, evaluations and packaging releases Technical advice and support for internal and external stakeholders Management and coordination of packaging development projects incl. appointment and budget planning Implementation of cost analyses and economic considerations Support for digitalization initiatives (e.g. traceability, smart packaging) Market and technology research, creation of innovation and technology roadmaps and competitive analyses Your profile Complete degree in packaging technology / packaging technology, material sciences or comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience in the development of packaging, materials or similar areas desirable Very good English skills in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office, knowledge of project management and Six Sigma of advantage Embossed material knowledge and understanding for sustainable packaging solutions Analytical thinking, structured working and team skills Your Benefit As open as SCHOTT is for your further development, our offer of additional benefits is as extensive.
