Production Manager / Head of Production Automotive (m/w/d)

This position refers to MAGNA Energy Storage Systems GmbH, a division of Magna. The range of services offered by MAGNA Energy Storage Systems includes the development and production of tank systems and components for cars, hybrid, natural gas and hydrogen vehicles and also trucks. With our around 1900 employees at 9 global locations, we supply premium car manufacturers with our innovative products.

For our location in Kerpen we are looking for you as a production manager / Head of Production Automotive (m/w/d).

Your tasks Responsible leadership, further development and continuous improvement of production

Professional and disciplinary leadership of the subordinate employees (total responsibility area includes about 85 employees)

Central contact person for internal and external enquiries

Monitoring and continuous optimization of the processes in the area of responsibility, in particular Ensuring safe, ergonomic and clean working environment

Achieving production and quality goals with optimal resource use

Implementation of vulnerability analyses and introduction of action plans for target deviations

Continuous generation and implementation of CSDP and rationalisation measures

Application of the Magna production and quality management system MAFACT

Compliance with relevant standards

Responsibility for budgeting as well as achieving and pursuing department goals and key figures in the area of responsibility

Ensuring and further developing internal and external reporting

Your preferred qualifications Completed higher education in technical or commercial fields or comparable qualifications

Comprehensive professional experience in a management function in the manufacturing sector of a manufacturing company, ideally in the automotive industry

Experience with modern production concepts such as Kaizen, Lean-Production and TPM

REFA certification desirable

Organisational and communication strength

Conflict resolution capability, resilience and teamability

Analytical and complex thinking and cost awareness

Secure handling of SAP and Microsoft Office

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing, other languages of advantage
