Location: flexible – nationwide at a Drees & Summer location of your choice Head of international engineering teams in the area of Study, Front End Engineering Design and EPC/EPCM with the focus on prioritization as well as qualities, dates and costs Creating and testing Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PFDs/P&IDs), designing equipment and performing Hazard Identification (HAZID), Hazard and Operability Study/Layer of Protection Analysis (HAZOP/LOPA) Choosing, evaluating and qualifying Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) technologies, such as amine wash, oxyfuel, membrane, adsorption/absorption, including modeling of heat- & material bilanes and heat integration Technology-open consulting of our customers – from the first concept phase to the final implementation Control of interfaces to authorities, suppliers and transport/storage partners (e.g. pipeline, LNG, mineralization) Participation in tender processes, technology assessments, technonomic analysis/life cycle assessment (TCA/LCA) analyses and capital expenditure/operational expenditure (CAPEX/OPEX) assessments

Complete study of plant engineering, process engineering and utility technology. Multiannual experience in the leadership of international engineering teams (Study/FEED/EPC), ideally in the field of cement, chemistry, wash to energy or oil & gas Extensive knowledge of CCUS engineering, in particular amine washing, oxyfuel, membrane processes, adsorption/absorption processes, heat integration, substance and energy balances. Experience with DACCS or cryogenic technology/liquefaction is also advantageous Ability to technology-free, solution-neutral customer advice, coupled with the willingness to take both leadership and project tasks equally engaged Found experience in process engineering and security (PFD/P&ID, equipment design, supplier selection as well as HAZID, HAZOP/LOPA, SIL/ATEX) Very good knowledge of simulation tools (Aspen Plus/HYSYS, gPROMS), engineering and project software (COMOS/SmartPlant, MS Project/Primavera) as well as basics in CAPEX/OPEX, TEA/LCA and data-driven work (Python, Power BI), as well as first experience in handling artificial intelligence Very good German & English knowledge, willingness to project-related travel
