The specialist clinic is an institution of the law enforcement of the state of Hesse and treats adult, mentally ill legal criminals. Since its opening in 2011, the modern clinic has been continuously expanded.

As a trained caregiver, you build sustainable relationships with people who have committed a crime due to their mental illness. Patience, empathy and understanding promote the community's ability, give individual help to cope with everyday requirements and motivate to participate in the treatment offerings. The nursing service is the largest professional group in the Vitos Clinic for Forensic Psychiatry Riedstadt. In addition to three-year-old nurses, the team also includes health and nursing staff, elderly caregivers or helpers in the care of the elderly, as well as nurses. The reconciliation of work and family is important to us. We write the schedules six weeks in advance. In principle, we work in the three-shift system with early, late and night service. The weekly working time is 38.5 hours for full-time employment. Individually adapted working time models (part time) are of course for us. We expect you to receive a transparent fee to TVöD and you benefit from a financially strong overall package: You will receive a fee according to TVöD‐K (debt group P8) with a gross annual salary between € 51.137 and € 55.947 – depending on your qualification and experience. Included in the total annual salary are the care allowance, the TVöD allowance, full-time allowance, an annual special payment as well as an occupational pension scheme, into which we deposit 5.7% of your gross salary per month. In addition, depending on services, you will receive supplements for layer or alternating layer work as well as the corresponding layer or alternating layer supplement. The wage range indicated refers to full-time employment. For parttime employment, the salary is calculated proportionately.
