Infrastructure Management Engineer in the Port of Hamburg

Our 10-person team ensures that the public infrastructure on the ground will remain an important component for the success of the Port of Hamburg in the future. For this purpose, we perform the owner and demand carrier tasks of the public infrastructure. These include roads and roads, road bridges, movable bridges, locks and locks and public flood protection in the port area. Your focus is on walking and cycling paths, drainage systems, public lighting and light signalling systems.

In your function, you are responsible for the construction and budget of the operating costs and the investment costs and perform the controlling as part of the billing and economic planning. In addition, you develop strategies for the maintenance and renewal of our infrastructure – from need analysis to project implementation. You tax the financing of your projects and shape financing arrangements with our partners. You support the implementation and construction of a city-wide uniform conservation management system. Your tasks include representing your topics and HPA interests towards politics, administration, citizens and stakeholders. To ensure that our infrastructure remains permanently efficient, you develop quality standards and key figures.

You studied civil engineering (Master/Uni Diplom) or a similar discipline. In addition, you have many years of experience in the renewal and maintenance of construction facilities (e.g. roads and road construction, drainage, bridge construction). Your knowledge of the applicable legal bases in building and conservation law as well as in terms of standards (DIN), accident prevention regulations, VOB or VOL are very good. You look back on extensive experience in project management. Working with Excel is part of your working day and you describe your knowledge as very good. You communicate correctly and you can convince with arguments. Your work is characterised by great cost awareness, flexibility and team and coordination.
