PRODUCT/TEST TECHNICIAN

Investigation, analysis, testing and support of research on the development of products and processes (evaluation of quality control, development and implementation of new testing methods). Specialization in quality control and quality assurance of casting materials and chemical production processes (transmission of process parameters from the technical unit into series production). Responsible for the remote control of the quality assurance laboratory of production (detailed analysis of closed production batches – approval tests). Maintenance of existing products, processes and specifications including modifications for new applications (recovery of test reports, production of customer samples, responsible for the technical unit, execution of first-class testing). Optimization of existing products due to information or suggestions from customers, developers or other employees. Initiating programs to continuously improve quality and cost while fulfilling customer requirements. Responsibility for laboratory inventory (raw materials for research and development) & maintenance (including calibration) of laboratory equipment. Responsibility for the EH&S operating instructions of the chemical experimental workshop (§14 Hazardous Substance Regulation). Responsibility for 5S+1 in the laboratory areas.

Completed training as a chemical/technical assistant Ideally multi-year experience in the organization of a physicochemical laboratory Reliable, efficient and careful operation Using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) we presuppose Ready to travel for daily use in external testing laboratories Good knowledge of German in word and writing, English of advantage
