Junior Operations Manager (m/w/d) in Metal Processing

Our client is owner-managed medium-sized company in metal processing, for which we are looking for a personality at the next possible time in regulated succession, which wants to go into the management next step.

In a well-functioning management team, you can expect a large design playroom. With your technical know-how, you take responsibility for the organization and optimization of the production processes. You actively shape work processes and interfaces between departments and drive the further development of production processes. Do you bring experience in metal processing, ideally in forming technology (stamping, drawing, bending) as well as basic knowledge in relevant standards such as ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and ISO 14001? You are also interested in becoming part of a motivated team with collegial handling and have first leadership experience or want to go the next step? We look forward to your application! The organization, control and monitoring of production operations are in your responsibility together with the management team You are responsible for personnel management, operational planning and demand determination You act as an interface to various internal departments, such as HR, quality assurance, etc. The evaluation of training needs and the organisation of training (in coordination with HR) are in your hands You design workflows and optimize process as needed

You have a technical training, ideally with a further training to the industrial master Metall/Technist or a completed study in engineering You have relevant professional experience (> 4 years), ideally in forming technology, but this is not a must You are characterized by organisational talent, entrepreneurial thinking and willingness to learn Your communication strength and the joy of being part of a great team complete your profile, first leadership experience is beneficial Very good knowledge of German as well as a safe handling of ERP systems are of course, English skills are advantageous
