For our customers we are looking for a dedicated electrical engineer (m/w/d) for protection and control technology via Hofmann Personal. In this position you will find exciting projects in the field of energy supply and the opportunity to work together with international experts on pioneering technologies.

Your tasks:

• They are responsible for the technical processing of protective and control systems for reactive power compensation projects (FACTS / Synchronous Condenser).
• They develop conceptual solutions within an international team of experts and implement technical solutions
• Creating design specifications as well as designing hardware and software for station control technology is one of your tasks
• Functional, performance and customer acceptance tests are carried out at our test centre in Forchheim
• The operation of the plant in Germany and abroad is one of your activities

Your qualification:

• You have successfully completed university studies in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology / automation technology
• You have knowledge of Synchronous Condenser or FACTS
• They have basic knowledge in the field of electrical power supply (medium and high voltage) and their secondary technology
• Ideally, you have already worked with control, HMI and protection systems (e.g. SIPROTEC, Digsi, SICAM PAS, Win CC)
• Knowledge about the application of IT Security is desirable
• Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing are of course for you
• Worldwide readiness to travel
• Your profile is rounded off by initiative, results, quality and customer orientation, organisational skills, enforcement and communication skills as well as motivation and enthusiasm
