As Senior Manager – Lean Expert (m/w/d), you take on the overall strategic responsibility for corporate Lean Transformations. You control complex transformation programs at Executive Level, perform interdisciplinary teams through challenging change processes, and take over the overall financial responsibility for transformation programs – from budget planning and business case creation to ensuring measurable benefits. Through the targeted connection of Lean methods and Kanban with scaled agile framework (e.g. SAFe), you shape sustainable operating model changes, establish organizational value flow and flow mechanisms and enable leadership teams to translate strategic goals into measurable performance increases.

Strategic transformation control: You guide complex Lean transformation programs across the entire lifecycle including Target image development, roadmaps, Hoshin Kanri / Obeya integration and make sure that the implementation leads to clearly quantifiable improvements. Leadership & Delivery Ownership: You conduct interdisciplinary project and program teams (staffing, target agreement, development & coaching), maintain overall responsibility for budgets, business cases, benefit tracking, risk and stakeholder management, and secure delivery excellence by controlling milestones, quality mechanisms, KPIs and risk and governance structures. Lean & Agile Integration: You anchor Value Stream Thinking, Flow Optimization and Kaizen Management Systems in scaled agile frameworks (e.g. SAFe) and establish central lean methods such as Daily Performance Management, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban and Flow Design as central management and improvement systems as well as continuous process optimization. Executive & Team Enablement: You coach executives and product organisations in Lean Leadership, Change Excellence and Structured Improvement Processes (PDCA) as well as hosting challenging workshops / events (e.g. Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause, FlowLab, Lean Portfolio Sessions, Problem Solving Events) – from C-Level to operating levels. Thought Leadership & Service Development: You develop our Lean-Agile service portfolio strategically (method building blocks, playbooks, templates), actively promote sales and acquisition activities, act as mentor for colleagues, build communities of practice and publish best practices / impulses (Brown Bags, Whitepaper).

Completed studies in BWL, (economics)Informatics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Psychology 8+ years of experience in Lean Management, of which at least 5 years in the management and implementation of transformations / programs – ideally in the advisory context Proven team/employee leadership (scientific and/or disciplinary) and comprehensive project management experience with responsibility for scope, time and budget – including measurable improvements in the form of process optimization, efficiency gains and detectable savings potentials Comprehensive expertise in strategic methods (including Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping, Problem Solving, Obeya, Setting Enterprise Kaizen Management Systems, Lean Transformation Governance) and methodological knowledge in Daily Performance Management, 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, Kanban or Flow Design Strong in Executive and Team Coaching, Change Enablement and Effective Stakeholder Management – complemented by excellent moderation, presentation and communication skills, a structured, outcome-oriented way of working as well as readiness to travel and knowledge of German and English (at least C1)
